Superior Native to Compete at Junior Pan-American Championships

Oklahoma City, OK (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Former Superior Spartan Niko Bogojevic will compete in the Greco-Roman wrestling competition at July's Junior Pan-American Championships in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Bogojevic, a 2010 Division I state champion in Wisconsin's 285-pound weight class, competed this past weekend at the USA Wrestling U.S. World Team Trials in Oklahoma City.

The Superior native lost his two matches in that competition, first to Pete Kowalczuk then to Jake Kettler.

Bogojevic just completed his first year of collegiate wrestling at Augsburg College, amassing a record of (26-10) with seven pins.

The Junior Pan-American Championships are scheduled to run July 1-3 in Sao Paulo.
