Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The No. 7 Marshall boys' hockey team won its third straight game while No. 18 Duluth Denfeld and Superior both routed their opponents in high school hockey action across the Northland on Saturday.
Marshall led just 1-0 after the first period but scored three goals midway through the second to make it 4-0 before winning 5-1. Wyatt Ulrich racked up 60 saves for the Broncos in the loss.
At the Heritage Sports Center, St. Francis led the Hunters 1-0 before Denfeld went on a scoring spree to beat the Saints 7-1.
Across the bridge, Superior scored four first period goals and shutout Menomonie 10-0 at Wessman Arena.
