Trapp Leads Eskomos to Tournament Title

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Savanna Trapp scored 27 points on Saturday night as the Esko girls' basketball team beat North Woods 59-48 in the championship game of the 2012 Esko Coaches' Classic.

Trapp was named the tournament's most valuable player, that after having totaled 52 points across two victories for Esko on the weekend.

Brooke Schramm added 13 points in the championship victory for the Eskomos, and the Grizzlies were led by the 18 points of Darby Youngstrom.

Esko entered the tournament ranked fourth in Minnesota's Class AA, while North Woods came in ranked 17th in Class A.
