Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) volleyball coach Jim Boos joined his predecessor, Pati Rolf, atop the program's all-time wins list on Tuesday night after his #1-ranked Bulldogs earned a 3-0 victory over St. Cloud State at Romano Gymnasium.

Boos and Rolf now sit tied with 310 career victories with the Bulldogs, although Boos got to that mark in 113 fewer games than Rolf. The current coach's next victory will put him alone atop the UMD record books.

"I've been very fortunate," Boos said. "I've worked with some great people along the way. Obviously, most importantly, I've had some great kids that I've gotten to work with. These young women are tremendous athletes, great students, and great people. I think they're great representatives for our program and the university."

Hibbing, Minn. native Kate Lange also achieved a personal milestone in the win, moving into fifth on the all-time kills list after finishing with 15 in the match.

UMD also got 10 kills from Sydnie Mauch in the winning effort, with Ashley Hinsch dealing out 40 assists and Julie Rainey adding 14 digs.

UMD is now (12-0) this season and will next be in action on Sept. 27 on the road against #2-ranked Concordia-St. Paul.
