Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- UW-Superior baseball coach Eddy Morgan reached a career milestone on Wednesday, winning his 100th game with the Yellowjackets in the team's 9-5 win over UW-La Crosse.

The Hermantown, Minn. native is the first baseball coach in UW-Superior history to reach the 100-win plateau, fashioning an overall record of (100-159) in his six-plus seasons.

“I’ve been very fortunate over the years to have players and assistant coaches that wanted to be successful. They’ve been willing to put the time in and do the things necessary to get better and improve our program,” Morgan said. “That’s what this milestone means. It isn’t anything that I did. This is about my players and assistant coaches that put the work in and laid a foundation that we’ve been building this program on. This milestone is for them.”
