Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica women's hockey team has had three players named to the all-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) team and two make the conference's all-rookie team, it was announced on Thursday.
Juniors Nina Waidacher and Alex Blair joined freshman Lindsey Hartifel on the all-NCHA team, while Harfiel and Isabel Waidacher were each named to the all-rookie team.
It is Nina Waidahcer's third time in three seasons being named all-conference, this time after she finished second in the NCHA with 22 goals and fourth with 36 points.
For Blair, this is the second straight all-NCHA selection after she finished third on the team with 19 assists and fourth with 20 total points. The 19 helpers were also sixth-best in the NCHA and second-most among defensemen.
Hartfiel, meanwhile, was the only freshman named to the all-NCHA squad after she led the conference with 566 saves and finished third in the league with a 2.04 goals against average and .934 saves percentage.
Isabel Waidacher, Nina's younger sister, led NCAA Division III this season averaging 1.10 assists per game, and she finished third in the league with 23 assists and 38 points this year.
