Wild Re-Signs Former Bulldog Forward Fontaine

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Former University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) forward Justin Fontaine has been re-signed to a one-year, two-way contract, the Minnesota Wild announced on Thursday.

The 25-year-old led the Houston Aeros with 56 points last season in the American Hockey League (AHL), with 23 goals and 55 assists.

The Bonnyville, Alberta native also led all Aeros skater with eight points in five playoff games.

Fontaine played four seasons at UMD and left having totaled 62 goals and 102 assists, with his senior year being the national championship season of 2010-11.

The Wild also re-signed Carson McMillan to one-year, two-way contact. McMillan totaled 18 points with the Aeros last season.
