Cloquet, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Hundreds of fans, both young and old, braved the heat on Tuesday afternoon to meet Minnesota Wild players Josh Harding and Nate Prosser, part of the team's 2013 summer road tour.

FS-North commentator Mike Greenlay joined the duo on this northern leg of the trip, which made stops in Ely, Minn. and Virginia, Minn. on Monday before getting to Two Harbors, Minn. and Cloquet, Minn. on Tuesday.

"This is something we enjoy doing where we can give back to the community that supports us throughout the year," Prosser said. "Getting out in these northern cities is a lot of fun. We're able to see all the kids, sign some autographs, and take a few pictures. We're glad to do that."

With temperatures on Tuesday reaching into the mid-80s, Greenlay knows the fans who came out are devoted to the Minnesota Wild.

"People stand in line in the heat for a long time to spend 30 seconds or a minute to have one of their favorite players sign an autograph," Greenlay said. "For me, that's a testament to grassroots hockey in Minnesota."
