Wilderness Take 2-1 Series Edge Over Lakers

Cloquet, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Wilderness used a two-goal second period to come from behind and beat the Fort Frances Lakers, 4-1, in game three of the Superior International Junior Hockey League's Bill Salonen Cup Final.

The win puts the Wilderness up in the best-of-seven series, 2-1. Dan Divis scored a power play goal in the second period that ended up being the eventual game winner. Conrad Sampair, Jake Larson, and Jordan Shockley each added goals for Minnesota.

Tyler Broderson had the lone goal for the Lakers. The two meet again on Friday, April 19 in Fort Frances. Game number four is set for 7:30 p.m.
