Yellowjackets, Pointers Skate to a Tie

Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) women's hockey team led by a goal going into the third but was forced to settle for a 2-2 tie with the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Saturday.

Hayley Epema notched her first goal of the season in the second period to put the Yellowjackets up a goal but the Pointers answered minutes later. Hailey Adair also scored for UWS.

Shanley Peters recorded 30 saves in goal for the Yellowjackets.

UWS (14-4-6) will finish out its regular season on Tuesday, Feb. 18 when they host St. Scholastica at 7:00 p.m.
