Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) goaltender Jennifer Harss has officially been named to the final roster of Team Germany ahead of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, marking her second appearance as an Olympian.

NNCNOW.com had first learned of Harss' inclusion on the roster in early December, but the Germans made the 21-player roster official on Wednesday morning.

Harss played for Team Germany in the 2006 Turin Olympic Games, appearing in three games and finishing the tournament with a 1.89 goals against average.

A native of Rieden, Germany, Harss played three seasons with UMD and posted a record of (57-25-6) with a 2.04 goals against average. She also helped the Bulldogs win the 2010 NCAA Division I championship.

Germany is in a pool with Russia, Sweden, and Germany and will open round robin play in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games on Feb. 9.
