Ex-'Dog Ouellette Named Captain for Canada

(NNCNOW.com) --- Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD women's hockey standout Caroline Ouellette will captain Canada's national team at the Sochi Games in her fourth Olympics, it was announced late Sunday.

Ouellette will make her fourth appearance in the Olympics in February for Team Canada after winning gold in her three previous tries.

The 2005 UMD graduate finished her collegiate career with 92 goals and 137 assists in 97 games played. She still stands as the program's all-time assists leader.
