Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- When troubles like the Wisconsin Wildland fire hit, Northlanders always seem to band together.

The Superior Fuel Company has set up a fund at Republic Bank to so that neighbors can help people affected by the fire.

At the same time Superior Fuel will donate twenty five cents to the fund from every new Facebook like they get.

And, the company will donate five cents per gallon from fuel deliveries out of their Barnes bulk plant for the next thirty days.

Company spokespeople say their profit margin is secondary when people are in need.

"That's not even a thought that's entered our mind. We're more interested in helping the community out and trying to relieve as much stress as we can in the area and to help with relief efforts," said Adam Herubin, Fleet Manager at Superior Fuel Company.

Herubin says some of the money raised will be donated to the volunteer fire departments that are now battling the blaze.

a cook-out benefit will also be held in Barnes on June 4 at the Cedar Lodge Steakhouse with the proceeds going to the volunteer fire crews.
