Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Other than their short performance over Lake Superior in 2008, the last full show in Minnesota was when Jimmy Carter was still President.

The Snowbirds Demonstration Team is a Canadian icon, comprised of active members of the Canadian Forces.

They've been performing for more than forty years, and have entertained more than 8—million people in more than 1,500 air shows.

According to Captain Scott Greenfield, it's no stretch when he says he and his teammates have the best job in the world.

"It's just such a great opportunity to get out and meet so many different people, and go to so many different places. And, we get a fantastic opportunity to be ambassadors for Canada while we're doing our job as well," said Greenfield.

The Snowbirds also act as ambassadors for the youth, touring schools across Canada and inspiring children to stay involved and interactive with their education.
