Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Members of the mob met in front of Little Angies in Canal Park, and walked to Duluth Pack to spend at least 20 dollars.
The entire event was put together in hopes of helping out local businesses in the area.
The Duluth Chamber of Commerce hopes that this will not be the last event of its kind in Duluth.
"It was invented to support local business to try to get a bunch of folks together using social media to meet at one spot and than all come in and spend at least twenty dollars on a local business to really help local businesses thrive," said Molly Solberg, sales and marketing director at Duluth Pack.
Duluth Pack gave customers a choice of three different charities to donate a partial amount of the proceeds of their purchase to.
