Cloquet, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- A three year old boy was treated at the Cloquet hospital today after being left on a Head Start Bus parked for three hours on the Fond Du Lac Reservation.
Ty Stiffarm's mother, Brooklynn Wait told us Monday night, a passerby heard his cries and got help.
Temperatures were hovering around zero.
Two of Wait's children were on the bus, seated directly behind the driver.
His step sister made it to Head Start classes, Ty didn't.
On Monday night, his mother said he was at home resting comfortably but his little hands are still purple from the the cold.
Brooklynn Wait says she is considering legal action.
In the Meantime she has pulled her children from school.
Fond du Lac runs its own transportation system.
Tribal Chairwoman Karen Diver told us the incident is being taken very seriously and is under investigation.
