Duluth, MN (NNC.NOW)
It may be March but Winter isn't over quite yet.
The Northland saw snowfall overnight and into the morning... some spots getting more than others.
In Chisholm people spent the day digging out from seven inches of snow.
Members of the Chisolm community spent their morning plowing, digging, and snowblowing themselves out of their driveways.
"I gotta get out of here I gotta go on a service call this afternoon. I gotta get out," says Greg Koskela.
Although snow at this time of year is not uncommon for Minnesota the amount of snow took some by surprise.
"It's Minnesota it's gunna snow, of course I don't like this ten inches, well I don't know if it's seven or ten but it's a lot, it's a little taller than my snow blower," Koskela added.
While many look forward to spring many are happy winter is still with us.
"I love it. It's the best thing, I'm gunna see if I can arrange a group of riders. See if we can go to bimbos or something."
says Chris Erickson, excited to ride his snowmobile.
Enjoy it while we can this is gunna melt pretty soon," says Koskela.
Some spots in our area saw up to ten inches of snow.
