Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Calling all Duluth retailers and emerging entrepreneurs, if you're looking for a piece of prime Downtown retail space, at no cost, this might be your chance.

The Greater Downtown Council is introducing the Pop-Up in Downtown Duluth opportunity, a chance for retailers and entrepreneurs to use vacant space in Downtown Duluth during the upcoming holiday season for free.

The selected participants will use the free space beginning on November 30th through the beginning of January. The only cost to the retailer is utility and insurance costs.

Kristi Stokes, President of the Greater Downtown Council says the opportunity gives people the chance to test-drive some of the most prime retail locations in Duluth during the heart of the Holiday season.

"This is just a win-win for everyone involved. One, it allows us to create additional energy in our Downtown, it provides the property owner with someone, in what has been a vacant storefront and for the retailer, what great exposure for them, a chance for them to be able to showcase their products during the holiday season."

Stokes says the applicants chosen will be complementary to the current retail mix in Duluth's Downtown.

Participants interested should be willing and able to be operational by Small Business Saturday, November 30th.
