Du Lac Crew Fest Brings Art and Culture to Mont Du Lac

Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) Hundreds hit the slopes at Mont du Lac this weekend for the first ever Du Lac Crew Fest.

The event featured a alopestyle competition Saturday and free form riding events on Sunday.

Organizers say they wanted to incorporate live music and art into the event to promote the culture of Mont du Lac.

"We wanted to create a little bit of culture around it,” Pride Jager, Event Coordinator said. “So we brought out music, live art, two days of riding."

Organizers say they hope to continue the event next year.
