Duluth Mayor Don Ness, Iron Range City Leaders Discuss Local Government Aid

Virginia, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Duluth Mayor Don Ness and city leaders from throughout the Iron Range met Monday to discuss the role of local government aid in their communities.

The discussion was hosted by the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities.

Several city leaders expressed the importance of the funding in supporting key services, including fire and police departments. Mayor Ness says LGA is important for keeping property tax rates low throughout the Northland while maintaining quality public services.
