Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth officials are considering big changes to Superior Street.

A proposal calls for changes from 6th Avenue West to 4th Avenue East and could include shifts in parking spaces along the street, the addition of bike lanes, and possibly having a larger sidewalk on the sunnier side of the street, among others.

Although project engineers are only in the preliminary design and public input process phase, they estimate that the total cost would be between $15-20 million.

Construction on the project is expected to take three years, and would begin sometime in 2016.
