DULUTH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Since moving to its new home just over two months ago, the Duluth Children's Museum has seen record growth.

Since May, the museum has had more than16 thousand visitors, and has more than doubled revenue estimates.

Memberships sales compared to a year ago for July showed a 300 percent growth.

The President and CEO says the new location, with more space and more exhibits has been full every day.

"People have told us that they really appreciate that there's more experiential and hands on activities that we've expanded our programming beyond our traditional arts and culture and history, and we've gone into the sciences with the entire STEM, science, technology, engineering and math," said Michael Garcia.

Thursday the museum had a member's appreciation night to celebrate the success.
