Hibbing, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A family of four has been displaced after a fire destroyed their home early Sunday morning.
According to the Hibbing Fire Department, the fire started around 5:30 a.m. Sunday at a residence on 6th Ave East.
One person was trapped on the second floor of the building before being rescued. The person suffered burn injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in Duluth.
Three others were transported to Fairview University Medical Center in Hibbing for evaluation.
Fire officials say the home is a total loss.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
