Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- If you're in the mood for something sticky and sweet...it's the 57th annual Lions Club Pancake Day at the DECC in Pioneer Hall.

The Lions Club expects somewhere around 10,000 people to attend the event over the day.

Over 2,200 pounds of pancake flour, 1,200 pounds of sausage, 50 cases of syrup and 700 gallons of coffee have went into this pancake party.

Some pancake makers are able to make 48 pancakes at once! The Lion's club is hoping to raise funds to help a variety of people in need.

"We provide money to the Lion's I-Bank. We also provide money to the lighthouse for the visually impaired here in the Duluth area. We also assist people with hearing difficulties and we also help with diabetes" said Director of Lion's Club Pancake Day, Eric Schlacks.

Some local celebrities have been found flipping pancakes throughout the day including KBJR 6 & Range 11 news anchors.
