Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) - Western Lake Superior Habitat for Humanity says they're ready to kick off their season of giving in their latest location.
The organization hosted an open house Friday and Saturday, to celebrate Habitat for Humanity's new ReStore location on Broadway Avenue in Superior.
The goal of the organization is to create a community resource center built on the reuse of building materials and the creation of safe, decent, and affordable shelters.
Officials say as they look for construction material donations before their February opening date, they're also looking for the next potential Northland project.
"We're looking for things, we're looking for volunteers, we're looking for families that are in need of a home as well," said Linda Nervick
