Superior, WI (NNC NOW) - The organization hosted an open house, earlier Friday, to celebrate Habitat for Humanity's new Re–Store location on Broadway Avenue, in Superior.
The goal of the organization is to create a community resource center built on the reuse of building materials and the creation of safe, decent, and affordable shelters.
Officials say as they looking for construction material donations before their February opening date, they're also looking for the next potential Northland project.
"We're looking for things, we're looking for volunteers, we're looking for families that are in need of a home as well," said Linda Nervick, a Director with Habitat for Humanity
The open house will continue Saturday from 11 AM until 3 PM.
