All too often, the older members of our family feel left out during holiday get-togethers.

With all the tweeting, gaming, and facebooking, it is hard for kids and seniors to find something that they can all enjoy together and not feel lost.

Robin Rinke of Lighthouse of Superior Assisted Living recently did a presentation at the community about inter-generational activities that will easily bring families together this holiday season.

She suggests pulling fun hats from your hosts costume collection, and grabbing an old frame. With these easy-to-find materials you can take photos, much like in a photo booth. The photo shoot will create memories and plenty of laughs, says Rinke.

She also suggests taking the old horderves from earlier in the day and creating stick people. Old and young people alike will enjoy making these dolls.

You can use either vegetables or cheese and meats. Play with food, it's fun!
