Iron Range Fire Destroys Home

Gilbert, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A fire near Gilbert Saturday destroyed a home.

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Department, a 64–year–old man was home at the time of the fire, but escaped without injuries.

The fire happened around six o'clock Saturday.

Authorities say the home is a total loss. They believe the fire was accidently started by a cigarette.
