Duluth, MN (Northland’s NewsCenter) --- Have you ever watched a witch cast a line and catch a fish?
Families who visited the Great Lakes Aquarium Sunday sure have.
Around 250 kids celebrated Halloween at “Scarium at the Aquarium.”
Families enjoyed safe, warm, indoor trick or treating and learned about fresh water fish.
From magic shows to SCUBA divers in costume, children won treats and got a head start on their candy collection.
"There's the added excitement of going around to get some treats and prizes and they still get to visit with some of the animals,” Alexis Berke, Education Director of the Great Lakes Aquarium said. “They still get to see the octopus and the lion fish, while all in costumes so it's an extra exciting experience for them."
It was the 11th annual "Scarium at the Aquarium" event.
