DULUTH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Duluth firefighters were called out to the Kozy Bar and Apartments on First Street tonight.

Fire broke out just before 8 pm in the basement of the building.

Witnesses on the scene say it appears the origin may have been the laundry room, however that has not been confirmed by authorities.

Streets around the Kozy are blocked off from traffic.

The Kozy was boarded up following a massive fire on November 15 of 2010, leaving 60 people homeless.

We’ll have more details as they become available.
