GRAND RAPIDS, MN (Northland's NewsCenter)---Hundreds stood in line in Grand Rapids today to meet legendary acting and singing star Andy Williams.

The best-selling author chatted with his fans inside the Judy Garland museum.

During his career, Andy Williams received 18 Gold and 3 Platinum albums.

On top of an Oscar, he received 5 Grammy Award nominations and 3 Emmy Awards.

Judy Garland appeared as a guest start on his show, "The Andy William's Show" in 1965.

Together they performed a comical skit, where Judy taught Andy how to apply make-up.

"We were short of about three minutes worth of show, she said, "what about if we teach Andy how to put make-up on?" She just started and it was funny. We rehearsed it about once and then shot it," said Williams.

The 2011 Judy Garland Festival presented Andy Williams with its Judy Garland Lifetime Achievement Award at a gala dinner tonight.
