UMD's Alyssa Lommel moves closer to home - St. Cloud Hospital

UMD student Alyssa Lommel will be moving closer to home on Monday to St. Cloud Hospital where she'll continue her treatment, according to her CaringBridge website.

Lommel suffered from severe hypothermia after spending a night outside unconscious, in subzero temperatures.

Lommel has been at Regions Hospital in St. Paul since mid–December and has recently undergone surgeries to remove all her fingers and thumbs. She has also had damaged parts removed from here feet.

Teri Lommel asks for people to "pray for Alyssa to find peace with her new life."
