Duluth, MN (NNCNOW) - It's been a long time coming, but tonight Duluthians got a firsthand look at what the future Vikings Public Stadium may look like.
The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority and the Minnesota Vikings introduced the architect of the stadium at the Holiday Inn downtown.
The public meeting showed people what the new billion dollar stadium may look like with concept drawings.
The architect along with the team Vice President Lester Bagley outlined the features that will be included along with hearing requests and answered questions from those who attended.
"We have a great fan base in Duluth and the surrounding area. We have one of our strongest, most loyal, Viking fan bases is here," Lester Bagley, the Minnesota Vikings Vice President of Public Affiars, said.
Just under 500 million dollars is being paid my Minnesota tax payers with the team coming in with the rest.
The stadium is set to break ground in the fall of 2013.
