Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Networking is a key ingredient when starting a business and one Northland organization is helping to foster more of it.

Twin Ports Connex is a non-profit organization offering career development resources for young entrepreneurs in the northland.

On Thursday, community members heard from a panel of people who have started successful businesses in the northland.

The panelists answered questions from the audience and shared their stories of starting a business as well as gave advice.

"Be passionate about what're doing, because when things do get hard and they do get difficult, it takes a passion and a diligence to persevere through that," said Eric Faust, owner of Duluth Coffee Company.

Thursday was the second networking event Twin Ports Connex sponsored with about 80 people in attendance.
