Duluth, Min. (NNCNOW.com) -- In celebration of Boys and Girls Club Week, Mayor Don Ness took part in a friendly math competition.

Two teams went up against the Mayor and showed off their best math skills.

As part of Boys and Girls Club week, people are invited to take a tour of the Boys and Girls club facility to see first–hand the programs they offer to the kids.

"We are very academic based in terms of math and science programming, and then we have a lot of different activities," said Dustin Anderson, program director for the Boys and Girls Club. "We are actually going to have the Duluth Police Department come in on Friday to do an Iron Chef competition."

Each day of the week is also themed. On Wednesday kids dressed up as their favorite super hero.
