The Minnesota Investment Fund will be amended after authorization was given by the St. Louis County Board.
The fund administers disaster relief funds to businesses impacted by flood damages last year.
Two awards have already been executed but numerous businesses have since applied.
The board today authorized the Planning and Community Development Director with the ability to amend grant agreements, execute funding agreements with the state and take on additional loan application requests.
"There are potential for additional applications being provided state funding."
Grant applications are still being processed.
