PROCTOR, MN (Northland's NewsCenter)---Parents from Proctor met tonight to see what they can do to help end bullying in their school.

The meeting was organized by the local Mothers Against Bullying group, also known as MAB.

The group says that ever since the Proctor school had to cut its liaison officer that the bullying on campus has drastically gone up.

The meeting was called to bring awareness to the issue, and to try to figure out a way to bring the liaison officer back.

Judith Little of MAB commented on how she and everyone else just wants school to be school.

"We just want our kids to be happy,' Little said. "They're there to learn, this isn't a playground. This isn't an area where people should be called names, this isn't. "This is school and things have changed drastically."

Around 30 people showed up for tonight's meeting. All of whom say they are ready for the bullying to end.
