Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Three new mountain biking trails will soon be added to the existing trails at Duluth's Spirit Mountain.
Duluth city officials have allocated $80,000 from the tourism tax fund to the Spirit Mountain recreation area for trail construction.
Plans call for a skills and jump park trail, which would be unique to the facility, as well as a free-ride trail, and a connector trail.
"It will really really make Spirit Mountain a destination for mountain biking. It already is but it will do even more," said Duluth city councilor Linda Krug.
Construction on the trails will begin this summer.
