Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Several Northland Celebrities, including the Northland's NewsCenter's Michelle Lee, showed off their new dance moves Thursday night.

The celebrities moved their feet along with some professional help at the Marshall School auditorium in front of a packed auditorium.

It was all part of the sixth annual Celebrity Dance Challenge, benefiting the Minnesota Ballet.

Performers spent the last five weeks practicing side by side with the ballet's dancers to help raise money for the organization.

"There are nerves, everyone is excited getting in their costumes, rehearsing steps, dancing up and down the hallways at the auditorium," said Robert Gardner with the Minnesota Ballet. "It's great to see people try something new and put themselves out there."

12 Celebrities were a part of Thursday's spectacular event.

Michelle Lee and her partner Nikolaus Wourms took home the award for "most dramatic."
