Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - The 14th annual Saint Jude Children's Hospital Radio Fundraiser, hosted by KOOL 101.7, B105 and MIX 108—was an effort to raise money for Saint Jude's research efforts.

For $25 a month, listeners could call and pledge to become a "partner in hope"—which funds research for cancer and catastrophic diseases.

B105 morning show host Kathy Kates said each dollar has a potential impact on the Northland.

"Whether or not you have a child that's getting treated right now—maybe in the future, God forbid—or, if there is a child in the Northland that's being treated right now you might know them," said Kates.

Pledges for this year's drive totaled $15,000 by the end of day one.
