Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- One person is in the hospital tonight following a two vehicle rollover on Jean Duluth Road and Riley Road.

Authorities responded to the accident call just after 4 pm.

They say a chevy blazer traveling westbound on Riley Road pulled out in front of a pickup truck traveling south bound on jean Duluth road, causing a collision.

The driver of the chevy blazer was transported to a local hospital, his condition remains unknown at this time.

The driver of the pick-up truck declined medical attention and was believed to have not suffered any injuries.

"After the impact, both vehicles ended up in the ditch over there. Witnesses reported them flying through air and spinning around," said Deputy Sheriff Mike McDougall of the St Louis County Sheriff's Office.

Witnesses also say they had to help the driver of the Chevy blazer get out of his vehicle by cutting the seatbelt with a knife and they had to use the driver's shirt to put pressure on a wound that was bleeding heavily from his head.
