SUPERIOR. WI (Northlands's Newscenter)--You may notice pot holes in Superior, Wisconsin being repaired at a faster rate starting in mid–May.

The City of Superior Street Department will add a second full time crew to its pothole repair operation.

Crews will switch to hot mix asphalt to repair the holes rather than cold mix asphalt, the temporary solution they've been working with since February.

In order to repair the roads as fast and efficiently as possible, the city says crews will repair the holes in an organized manor, completing one area of the city before moving on to the next.

"It may take a little longer to get to your neighborhood, if you will, but it will be done properly, efficiently, permanently and right," said Bruce Hagen, Mayor of Superior.

Citizens are still encouraged to report pot holes to the city of Superior.
