Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)--- Preparations for the Bayfront Blues Festival are underway at Bayfront Park in Duluth.

Tents went up Wednesday and vendors have already begun congregating at the festival grounds in preparation for the start of the 26th Annual Bayfront Blues Festival this weekend.

32 acts are expected to sing the blues over the three day event.

Officials say they are expecting a record crowd of more than 30 thousand people.

The show goes on rain or shine.

So far our meteorologists say it looks to be a beautiful weekend.

"It's gonna be a great festival and like I said, the weather is supposed to be great. Ya know, it's always great energy. People are wonderful. They're happy. They're listening to great music. It's sunny it's a great place. You know it's a wonderful place to be," said Cyndee Parsons, Director of Media Relations for Bayfront Blues Fest.

Gates open at 11 a.m. tomorrow.

The festival runs through Sunday.
