The Radisson Hotel in Duluth remains closed after a water main break on Wednesday night.

The Radisson evacuated guests to nearby hotels including The Holiday Inn and The Sheraton. The guests have yet to return.

"We helped them throughout the weekend and going forward this week we're here for them along with other hotels," says Holiday Inn General Manager Gerry Goldfarb.

The Holiday Inn accommodated approximately 70 displaced guests. Goldfarb is just thankful the break did not happen during a busier weekend.

"It had been the weekend of Robotics it would have been a lot tighter for the weekend," adds Goldfarb.

Officials at The Radisson have not released information as to when their doors will reopen.

"Every guest that comes through Duluth is important so we just want to make sure the guests are taken care of. We feel for the Radisson team and we've expressed to them if they need any help with anything we're here for them," Goldfarb continues.

The severed line at the Radisson was not a city line.

However, there have been multiple water main breaks on Superior street this winter which has caused some concern amongst Duluthians.

"The city is looking at the reconstruction of Superior St. between the aging bricks and some of the other streetscape a lot of working if going to be coming forward in the coming years."

Both the JJ Astor and Bowery Brothers restaurants will are both closed indefinitely.

The Radissin hopes to set an opening date by March 20th.
