Duluth, Minn. (NNCNOW.com) -- The 48th annual Arrowhead Home and Builder's show at the DECC is off to a great start this week.

With 1,177 vendors, organizers are hoping the snow storm won't hinder people from seeing what the show has to offer.

The show has everything from "do it yourself" home building tips to decorations for your home.

One unique exhibit is a home carved out of a Redwood tree.

The tree was 14 feet in diameter at the stump, 267 feet high, and 1900 years old.

"This section was 98 feet above the ground and they cut it down and made a three room house inside. The house is currently 75 years old and my grandfather built it and lived in it for seven years," said Jamie Allen, who has been dubbed the "Log Lady."

To see the inside you will have to head to the home show.
The doors open at 11 a.m. Friday morning. The show runs until Sunday.
