Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - A small grass fire broke out on the hill near Lincoln Park this afternoon.

The Duluth Fire Department was quick to respond and knock down the small blaze.

One truck showed up promptly after the call was made, and a second truck minutes later.

The fire was contained with the use of brooms, and water backpacks.

Fire fighters say they still aren't exactly sure what started the blaze.

"Grass Fire we don't know how it started there's a couple of little camps around here so we don't know if somebody started it, who was living up here, or if it was natural causes."

The call came in from a driver who saw the smoke from Superior St. and Grand Ave.
