Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A spring storm has blanketed much of the Northland with a fresh layer of snow, adding over 12 inches in some areas.
Strong winds have caused three to four foot snow drifts in parts of northwestern Wisconsin.
Pat Huston of MnDOT says crews have been out all night clearing snow from the roads. He says that because of the warm temperatures the snow gets compacted easily, causing the roads to be very slippery.
