Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)-- Standing at the entrance of Bridge Festival is UMD's and KUMD's 'Stuff the Truck' benefit.

The benefit collects donated summer clothes, cash, and signs people up for volunteer opportunities.

The proceeds go to Damaino Center, which provides emergency assistance like meals, clothing, hygiene products, and phones to low income people.

Organizers say the donations have been piling up since early this morning.

"We welcome everybody who has not been here yet. Tonight is going to have great music with Mason Jennings. (There is) all day long activities, so come and join us and talk to us. We will be here all day long," said Ira Salmela with KUMD.

Anyone who helps "Stuff the Truck" will receive a heart-shaped-balloon for their generous donations.
