Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Cloquet officers arrived at a home on Maplewood Avenue shortly after 1 a.m., where witnesses told them the suspects had entered the home and demanded money.

At least one shot was then fired into the garage ceiling when their demands weren't met.

Two juvenile males and an adult male were later arrested after fleeing the scene and are awaiting formal charges, though authorities say further investigation could bring forward more suspects.

According to Deputy Chief Terry Hill, no one should be concerned about the safety of the community.

"This is not commonplace for the Cloquet community. The Cloquet community is a safe community. We pride ourselves on that, and work very hard to keep it that way," said Hill.

The man was taken to the Carlton County Law Enforcement Center, and the two juveniles are held at the Arrowhead Juvenile Center in Duluth.

The incident remains under investigation.
