Swimmer Off Lake Superior Shore Raises Concern

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- A swimmer caused quite a scene on Duluth's Park Point this evening.

According to beach goers, a man was spotted swimming nearly a mile off the shore.

Fire, Police, Sheriff, Emergency Rescue and Coast Guard Officials responded to a call that the man may have needed assistance.

When the coast guard reached the man, he reported he was not in distress.
